1000 pounds of Styrofoam may not fit in the truck because the size would be apx. 10'x 10'x 10 feet (about. 1000 cubic feet).

While 25 - forty pound 8" x 8" x 16 inch concrete blocks would weight 1000 pounds. The net volume would very small :   About half of (40" by 80" and 8 inches high.)
