Exponent Example: X = (2 + (7²) x 5)

Step 1: The inner most Division and/or Multiplication goes FIRST.

In this example it is (7²) which equals 7 squared or (7x7) = 49

Step 2: Now we have : (2 + (49) x 5)

Step 3: Be Careful: The next step is a gotcha step. Multiplication goes first. So, We have 2 + (49 x 5) = 245 + 2 or 247
Answer: X = 247
