HOW TO MAKE A HORIZONTAL LINE ON A DOWEL ROD

STEP 1.  CLAMP THE DOWEL to a flat surface.

STEP 2.  PLACE A LEVEL or a straight board next to the dowel.

STEP 2.  MARK THE DOWEL as shown.

NOTE: This will work on most round pipes or rods.

Metric & Imperial (a.k.a. feet & inches) measurements are often rounded to an "about" number.
